I am also very addicted to languages. There is a very attractive passion...... I can't describe the feeling, being able to understand the others and to communicate with them is a big magnet for me.

About Spanish, I think it is very true. I can't understand it when listening, but now I find it surprisingly easy to guess the meanings of a lot of Italian and Spanish sentences. Even so, still jealous how easy the Spanish-speakers and Italian-speakers pick up French so unbelievably easily (although with un-mistakable accents).

About McDonald's in Switzerland...... Yes, that is expensive. I lived in CH for a few years...... The living standard is high, things are expensive, but life is much more relaxing. Pace of life in NOWHERE can compete with HK.
